At each of our Journalism Days, we offer contests for secondary school journalism programs. Each fall, we receive more than 150 entries for our Junior High J-Day Contests. For our 2007 High School J-Day, we received a record 900 contest entries from schools in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
Not coming to J-Day? No problem. You can still enter student work into the J-Day contests. For schools not coming to J-Day, there is a slight fee increase per contest entry. We want to be able to recognize and offer constructive comments for all school publications, even if they are not able to make it to J-Day.
Junior High J-Day Contests: We have 16 categories in which you can enter your students' work in the 2008 Junior High Journalism Day contests. Download a contest entry form for more information on how to enter the contests. Entries should be postmarked by Friday, Sept. 12, 2008.
High School J-Day Contests: The 2008 High School Journalism Day contest deadline has passed. We announced contests winners at J-Day on Friday, April 25. We'll also post the results online shortly thereafter. Download a list of winners from the 2008 High School J-Day.
