<h2>Ball State goes to Washington</h2>
<p>Students, faculty and staff from Ball State University&#8217;s Department of Journalism and BSU Journalism Workshops were in Washington, D.C. Nov. 12-14 for the 2009 JEA/NSPA National Convention! </p>

<h3>BY THE NUMBERS:</h3>
<p><strong>31</strong> high school newspaper, magazine, broadcast and online staffs stopped by our booth for free critiques!</p>
<p><strong>15</strong> students, faculty and staff from Ball State attended the convention to promote Ball State and critique publications!</p>
<p><strong>2</strong> Ball State students were named JEA Future Teachers (out of three total!)</p>
<p><strong>5</strong> Ball State Summer Workshop advisers were recognized at a JEA/NSPA awards luncheon</p>
